BOOKS BY STEVE HARRIS
Steve Harris is a freelance writer whose articles have appeared in the Star-Tribune, Leadership Journal, Inspired Magazine, Perspective, the Fillmore County Journal, the Morrison County Record, and the Root River Current. He is also the author of two books, “Lanesboro, Minnesota” and “Dads Like Us: A Survival Guide for Fathers Raising a Child with Disabilities.”
A graduate of Bethel College & Seminary, he is a former pastor, teacher, and innkeeper with two decades of experience in nonprofit communications. Steve and his wife, Sue, live in Minnesota.
Steve is the father of two sons, Matthew and Andrew, both of whom were diagnosed at an early age with a rare, debilitating, and incurable neurological condition called Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease. His experience of being a dad of two children with special needs recently led him to write and publish his second book:
